Elevate Your Winter Parties: Unique Grilled Desserts to Try

Winter is a season that makes everyone feel lazy and just want to stay bundled up indoors. But no worries, we've got some fun and unique grilling ideas that can heat up your winter parties.

Grilling is not just limited to savory barbecue dishes; you can also fire up the grill to create exotic and tasty desserts.

Think outside the box and try these unique grilled desserts that blow your guests' minds away.

Grilled Donuts

  • Why we love these on a cold day — They're warm and sweet and add to the atmosphere of a wintery backyard scene.

Turn your regular donuts into a smoky and flavorful dessert by grilling them on the barbecue.

First, slice the donuts in half and grill them until light grill marks show up.

Once done, top them with your favorite flavored glaze, fruits, or nuts.

Grilled donuts are easy to make and taste like a slice of heaven.

Grilled Fruit Skewers

  • Why we love these on a cold day — They're perfect for when you want something sweet but don't want to feel too guilty.

Grill skewered fruits such as pineapple, peaches, mangoes, strawberries, and apricots. It imparts a caramelized texture to the fruit, adding more depth to its flavor.

Once done, dust off some cinnamon for additional flavor and sprinkle some chopped nuts to balance out the sweetness.

There are so many different ways to make these skewers — let your imagination run free with this one.

Chocolate-Stuffed Grilled Bananas

  • Why we love these on a cold day — They're rich and indulgent, perfect for warming up on a chilly night.

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a grilled banana dessert that's stuffed with chocolate.

First, slits the banana in half (but not all the way) and stuff it with chocolate chips or Nutella. We're big fans of Nutella, but it's a preference, not a requirement.

Then, wrap it in aluminum foil and grill it. Once done, top it with your choice of toppings like nuts, whipped cream, or marshmallows. With ours, we prefer more marshmallows and fewer chocolate chips, but to each their own.

Grilled Apple Pie

  • Why we love this on a cold day — It's a classic dessert with the added smoky and caramelized flavor from grilling.

This one is a favorite when it comes to dessert cravings.

All you have to do is cut an apple into four even pieces, then toss it with cinnamon and sugar.

Then, place it on the grill until caramelized.

Add pie crust and whipped cream or ice cream to turn it into your favorite dessert.

These are great because they're straightforward and equally delicious. If you want something quick and painless, the grilled apple pie is a way to go.

Grilled S'Mores

  • Why we love these on a cold day — They're easy to make and perfect for winter-themed parties.

Now, you don't have to wait for summer to arrive to enjoy the classic campfire dessert. These s'mores are exactly what you think they are; no tricks here.

Try grilling S'Mores and have your winter dessert game turn up a notch.

Place graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate on your grill and enjoy the perfect oozy, gooey, and crisp bite.

There's not much to these except that you should definitely add this to your winter dessert rotation. Obviously, try not to be as messy as we were making them.

Grilled Pound Cake with Berries and Whipped Cream

  • Why we love this on a cold day — It's light and refreshing but still satisfies your sweet tooth.

Grill pound cake slices until they have golden grill marks. The grill marks make you look like a pro, but they're also an indicator that they're done. Even if it's just toasty on the edges like ours, you should be good to go.

Serve them with whipped cream and berries for a simple yet elegant grilled dessert. Of course, these are optional but definitely a great idea.

Again, like some of these others, they're super easy. You don't want to spend hours making deserts; you want to get back to hosting and entertaining.

Grillin' ain't just for the summer.

Winter parties shouldn't be boring just because of the season. In fact, there are plenty of ideas you can consider for your winter get-togethers. Grilling desserts is just one way to elevate your party game and add some excitement to the cold weather.

With these innovative grilling ideas, you can not only become the master of your grill but also impress your guests with unique desserts that they've never seen before.

With the combination of cold weather and the melting flavors of these unique grilled desserts, your parties will undoubtedly be heated up!
